Fire Safety Risk Assessments
With the recent changes to the fire safety legislation, Dan Lee Training can now provide businesses with fire safety risk assessments. Whereas other training and consultancy companies leave it there, Dan Lee Training also provide:
- a detailed report outlining existing and required fire safety arrangements within your premises
- a detailed fire emergency plan.
- a fire safety action plan
The Fire Safety Risk Assessments have to be reviewed every 6 months and Dan Lee Training can provide the service of `Responsible Person` to ensure that all your fire safety arrangements are managed and kept in order. This ensures that there is no need to panic when the fire services come to call and, what's more, you may be entitled to an insurance premium reduction.
Prices are dependant on the size of the property and nature of the business to be assessed but as a guide we can provide the following prices to help you assess a realistic cost of providing these essential services to your business:
Fire Safety Risk Assessments:
- Retail or office premises - two floors plus four small offices - £225
- Business premises or small warehouse including offices and storage areas - £ 450
- Larger business premises with multiple rooms/offices and assorted business activities within - Between £950 - 1295
Fire Safety Responsible Person
This option provides you with a monthly site visit and the management of all your fire safety arrangements to ensure compliance with the new legislation. Prices are charged per quarter (every 3 months) but are dependant on business size, nature and location:
- Small business - £425 - 675 per quarter
- Medium sized business - £500 - 995 per quarter
- Larger business - £825 01375 per quarter
Fire Warden and Fire Risk Assessment training can also be provided.

Health and Safety Consultancy
We offer two solutions to your Health and Safety needs:
1. Remote
2. Site
The remote solution provides you with all of your generic policies and method statements through consultation over the telephone and/or e-mail. You are provided with a basic Health and Safety Management System Manual and expert guidance and assistance to help you deal with many of the issues that your business faces. We would also provide you with the service of naming us as your nominated health and safety professional for any contracts/tenders that you may bid for. You will also receive regular legal updates and newsletters focussing on your safety requirements.
The site solution provides you with all of the remote solution plus the additional benefit of having our safety consultant visit the site at least once per month and assist you in managing your health and safety arrangements. By attending the site we are able to transform your basic policies and management system manual and make it more specific to your needs. We are also able to do your risk assessments for you and guide/advise you regarding accident investigation.
Prices range from as little as £225 - £500 per calendar month* for the remote solution and £400 - £750 per calendar month* for the site solution. Prices are dependant on the nature, size and location of the business. However, Dan Lee Training is always open and up front about pricing and we don't believe in making safety unaffordable for you.
* Fixed term contract - minimum of 12 months
Our customers benefit from our extensive experience of writing risk assessments, safe systems of work, policies and bespoke training to meet all aspects of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
