Prior to relocating to South Devon in 2006, Dan worked in a variety of roles as both a National and International Training Manager for TNT Express, United Airlines and Harrods, exposing him to a wide range of work disciplines, environments and practices.

During this time he qualified as both a Health, Safety and Environmental professional, a  UK Government, DfT approved Aviation Security trainer and training provider and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor. Before all of this, he served 20 years as a police officer specialising as a Police Trainer and Underwater Search Unit Diver before an injury forced his early retirement.

These roles have provided him with an unparellelled breadth of experience which he readily utilises in designing and delivering memorable training sessions as well as providing practical and professional Health and Safety advice.

Dan provides training, auditing and consulting services to the British Safety Council which sees him travelling all over the UK and far-flung places around the globe providing professional safety advice, audits and training to a wide variety of clients/businesses. He provides training and consultancy services to Training Team, a Surrey based trainng group and SSG Training and Consultancy based in Plymouth.

He holds the Cert Ed, NVQ Level 4 (Learning and Development) and the National Police Trainer`s certificate and is a national award-winning training designer. Dan`s recent qualifications include the NEBOSH Contstruction Certificate,  NEBOSH Fire Safety certificate, LRQA ISO18001 Lead Auditor and IMS Maritme Lead Auditor. He is currently working towards achieving his NEBOSH diploma in OSH.
